The teams played on the training pitch at Sixfields. This was the first competitive match for the two teams, The match was played in great spirit with the play going from end to end. The Cobblers were 2-0 up after the first half, but in the second half Corby fought back and scored three goals.
Hopefully this will be the first of many fixtures between the two clubs, special thanks goes to Karl White for his help in developing the disability section at Corby and for Kathryn Hall of Northants FA for helping the club achieve its disability section. A big mention must also go to Corby Kingswood who have fully embraced their new multi disability section and signed up to the Deaf Friendly Club pledge.
After the match both teams where the guests of Northampton Town where they watched the Northampton vs. Rochdale fixture.
