Female Small Grant Programme

The Northamptonshire FA are delighted to announce the Women’s and Girls’ Small Grant Programme, in association with Tesco.

Please find below the following Q and A's, allowing you to gauge whether you're able to apply for this funding, and how to go about it.

Who can apply?
Any club that is starting a NEW Girls or Ladies team with the intention of entering a league.
If you are a new club or already have a number of teams, you can apply.

How much can I apply for?
The grant is for £400 but a minimum of 20% (£80) must be contributed to in the form of partnership funding.

What can the money be used for?
Assistance with affiliation and league costs, pitch hire, facility hire, referee fees, coaching courses, hire of football coaches, first aid kits, equipment, publicity and promotion, kit.
The grant must be used for the items set out in the financial breakdown.

The money must not be used for……

Any football that is not for females
Travel or transport
Part of any other project application

How many times can I apply?
Only one application per Club per year

Are there any conditions of applying for the Grant?
Clubs must commit to achieving Charter Standard Status within 12 months of the application if they do not already have it.
The Programme must be monitored, evaluated and reported back to the County FA at the end of the 12month period.
If these conditions are not met, the NFA reserve the right to recoup the grant.

Does this affect us applying for any other grants?
No
