Adult Male Futsal Cup

11:33 AM, Wednesday, 13 February 08.

Over the past three months teams have been competing in the county stages of The FA Futsal Cup at both junior and senior level.

Futsal is a variation of 5-a-side football, developed in South America using a smaller, heavier ball with give more emphasis on skill, movement and creative play. It is a great tool to develop passing, close control and players technique; especially for young players. It is primarily an indoor game played to pitch markings (So no whacking the ball off walls as in 5-a-side) however can be adapted to play outside depending upon facilities available.
