Penalty Points
Throughout the playing season, clubs may pick up penalty points. These points are placed against a club for various disciplinary matters. See below for examples:

Standard Charges
Serious Foul Play - 3
Violent Conduct - 4
Attempting to kick or strike another player - 3
Kicking or striking another player - 4
Violent head to head butting - 7
Attempting to head butt - 3
Head to head contact - 4
Spitting or similar unseemly behaviour directed at an opponent or any other person (not at a match official)

Denying a goal or an obvious goal scoring opportunity by physical means or by deliberately handling the ball

Use of offensive or insulting or abusive language or gestures

Use of offensive or insulting or abusive language or gestures directed at match officials

Receiving a second caution in the same game

Misconduct Charges
The points awarded for Misconduct charges may vary from case to case, depending on the severity of the charge
• Penalty points are NOT awarded if a case is found not proven
• At the end of the playing season, all penalty points get wiped from our system and start afresh at the start of the new playing season
• Fines are issued to clubs once their penalty points exceed certain stages. These stages vary, depending on how many teams a club has. The more teams, the higher the stages
• The table below outlines the Recommended Points Allowances per club per season:

• The fines for reaching each stage are as follows:
Stage I - £25 fine – no admin fee is charged, however, a late fine of £8.00 maybe added if the fine is not paid on time
Stage II - £50 fine – no admin fee is charged, however, a late fine of £8.00 maybe added if the fine is not paid on time
Stage III - £100 fine – no admin fee is charged, however, a late fine of £8.00 maybe added if the fine is not paid on time
• Clubs who get significantly more penalty points than those at Stage III may face further disciplinary action.
