Personal Hearings

When a player or club does not agree with any part of a charge that has been raised against them, they have the right to appeal.

They can do that in one of two ways. They can 1) accept the charge and put in a plea of leniency (this is where the Disciplinary Commission hear the case, but neither the club nor the player are asked to attend), or 2) ask for a Personal Hearing.

If a serious charge has been raised against an individual then sometimes they will be summonsed to a Hearing. In this case they do not have an option as to how they answer the charge. They must face the Disciplinary Committee for them to decide how serious the case is, and to ensure the individual receives a fair outcome.

If you have received a charge that you disagree with, you must get the paperwork and the hearing fee to the County FA by the date on the paperwork. Even if the paperwork gets to the County FA a day late, they have the right to turn down your appeal.
