During the NFA Youth Invitational Under 14s Cup Final at Cogenhoe United FC, a young man was injured and due to the lack of local ambulances, the air service then air-lifted him to a local hospital.
Following this superb assistance on the day, the Northamptonshire FA have decided to show their appreciation for the help and professionalism of the crew by making a small donation as a thank you.
Chief Executive David Payne said, "The support offered by the Warwickshire Northamptonshire Air Ambulance service was fantastic on the day, and we're extremely grateful.
"We hope this donation goes a small way to thanking them for their help at our NFA Youth Invitational Cup Final".
