Wildcats Centres get off to Great Start

The recently opened SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Clubs are already making a massive impact on girls across Northamptonshire.
All of the clubs in Northamptonshire are now up and running, with the exception of Southfield School Sports Centre’s which begins this Saturday (20 May).

Caroline Chisholm School’s Wildcats Club has been running since March, with the first session seeing a total of 26 girls take part. The centre continues to grow and there are now over 30 players on the roster.

Gary Biddulph, Northamptonshire FA Business Manager, visited Towcester Centre for Leisure’s Club last Wednesday and was very impressed by the young coaches and the set-up of the Club, which has now been running for five weeks.

The new centres have also gone down well with the young players involved. Speaking at the Towcester Centre, one parent said: “The sessions are brilliant and Mia looks forward to doing them every week, and she has got a lot better.”
