Debbie Preston, Northamptonshire FA Football Development Officer, and Maria Murphy, Senior Administrator, began the County FA’s validation process by visiting Brixworth FC’s training session at Moulton College on Wednesday 1 November.

Members of NFA staff will be visiting sessions across the county to ensure that football is being played in a safe environment, under the control of suitably qualified coaches.

We must emphasise that if we visit it doesn’t mean there is an issue with the club, we simply feel it is important to visit as many venues as possible. It is great to get out and watch grassroots football and we thank all the managers, coaches and volunteers behind the scenes who give up their time.
