We are seeking organisations across Northamptonshire to help us grow girls’ football participation by becoming an SSE Wildcats Centre. 

SSE Wildcats Centres provide a fun, enjoyable first experience of football for girls aged 5 – 11. FA research shows that girls at mini soccer age prefer to play in a girls-only environment. After a successful pilot year in 2017, The FA are rolling out a further 800 SSE Wildcats Centres nationally to double female participation by 2020. 

In Northamptonshire, we are seeking delivery partners to come on board and join our three current SSE Wildcats Centres and expand our provision across the county. 

We are especially keen to hear from organisations in our female football Hotspot areas of Northampton, Kettering and Corby, however a passion for, and dedication to, developing female football is much more important to us.

SSE Wildcats Centres benefit from a £900 start-up grant and 30 Nike footballs. In return, SSE Wildcats Centres must run for a minimum of 16 weeks, commencing in April 2018.

SSE Wildcats Centre training for delivery partners – February & March 2018 (St George’s Park)

National, regional & local marketing – February & March 2018

SSE Wildcats Centres start – April 2018
