Charter Standard Online Portal Now Open

The Charter Standard portal is officially open until Wednesday 28 February, with clubs now able to start the process of renewing their Charter…
Like last year, the process is completed by clubs through the Whole Game System portal. If you have any issues, please view our video guide.

Annual Health Checks form a vital part of achieving and retaining the Charter Standard status of our clubs. The process was introduced by The FA to directly support Charter Standard Clubs in the following areas:

• Tracking the validity of your club voluntary workforce in relation to coach education and welfare
• Identifying your club workforce/coach education requirements for the coming season

For information on the Charter Standard criteria and the new Coaching Pathway, please click here

We also ask clubs to actively promote the FA Licenced Coaches Club to all qualified coaches. This is free to join and now doesn’t require any mandatory CPD, making joining the scheme even easier. Please click here for details.

Once part of the scheme, individual coaches will receive automatic reminders of their qualifications, including expiry dates and how to renew them. This has proved a very significant help to the club volunteers who are assigned the unenviable task of ensuring all their coaches have their qualifications in place.

Being members of the FA Licenced Coach Club has never been easier, so please ensure you pass on the link to your coaches. For season 2017/18 we will want to see all Charter Standard club coaches signing up to the scheme. Failure to do so could impact on clubs gaining the Charter Standard award.

As always, if you have any questions or require some help please feel free to contact Debbie.Preston@NorthantsFA.com
