Keith Andrews, youth section coach at Kettering Futsal Club is really excited about the new competitions. He said “As Northamptonshire’s only Charter Standard Futsal club, we’re really pleased to be working with the County FA to help grow Futsal locally. We know that young players love playing Futsal because they get loads of touches of the ball and it’s a fast, exciting format. We hope to see lots of new faces playing in our competition!”

Stuart Smith, Football Development Officer at Northants FA echoed Keith’s comments. He said “I encourage youth team coaches to get in touch and reserve one of the limited spaces. It’ll provide a fun and exciting opportunity for young players to experience Futsal. We hope the coaches see the technical benefits the game can bring, as well as being great fun for the players!”
