Respect

'Respect' Still a Priority for Northants FA

The FA's Respect programme aims to educate parents and coaches on their roles in creating a fun, safe and inclusive environment for players to ensure the campaign is embraced throughout all age group and result in sustained participation from players and volunteers alike.

For the Northants FA the respect programme continues to be a priority. Following this seasons successful visits to U7 – U11 fixtures we will now be turning our attention to the U12 – U18’s age groups.

NFA staff will be making visits to matches across the county to chat to some of the many parents who regularly support their children to play football.

The purpose of the visits is to remind parents and supporters of the FA safeguarding values that we expect to see in and around youth football, while encouraging parents to be positive in their support for everyone on the pitch players and referee alike.

Staff members will be out and about at league and cup fixtures around the county if you see us come and say hello.
