England Football accredited club of the Month – Winners Announced

We are delighted to announce that Spencer Community Trust FC have been awarded the EFA club of the month award for October

The award was created to recognise and celebrate the work carried out by clubs and their volunteers.

Debbie Preston, NFA Football Development officer went along to the club (6/11/22) to present the trophy, Debbie commented ‘It such a great opportunity to meet volunteers, parents and players involved with the club. I send the congratulations from all at the NFA on the achievement and wish the club all the best as it continues to grow and develop’. 

Spencer Community Trust FC have teams playing in the NDYAL & Weetabix leagues, a parent commented: ‘Spencer is a club where kids from diverse backgrounds get to engage, exhibit and grow their love for football which helps stimulate their physical as well as mental health’. 

Another expressed that ‘the club prides itself on being supportive to ensure that each individual gains a positive experience whether that be as a volunteer, player or parent.
