DECEMBER'S NFA ACCREDITED CLUB OF THE MONTH

 Northants FA would like to congratulate Moulton Magpies FC, who have been named as our England Football Accredited Club of the Month for December 2022.

Moulton Magpies is the youth section of Moulton Football Club which was originally formed within Moulton village in 1896. Youth football is known to have been played at Moulton dating back as far as the 1940's with the current youth section started in 1994 with the formation of an U11's boys’ team.
Now the club provide football for all ages and abilities running 26 teams from U6 through to adult including a thriving Walking football community, with over 500 players registered the club provides a platform for individuals to express themselves through football.

 Debbie Preston Football Development officer for Northants FA explained “Moulton are a beacon in local grassroots football and should be proud of being England Accredited club of the month. They are a club that are doing all the right things for their players and have all the processes in place to make football fun and safe for all.”

Karen Collyer club secretary & Welfare Officer told us ‘’With over 25 teams ranging from Under 6 training sessions to Senior Mens, Senior Ladies together with Girls training and Walking football (with some Players over 80) Moulton provides numerous access for all for footballing activities.  We endeavour to involve the local community to support the Club and teams for all ages with excellent facilities so they can pop in for a coffee, bacon rolls, the bar and also access to National or International Football being screened in the Clubhouse on several TV’s for all to watch and enjoy’’

With the support of the NFA all the club volunteers work hard to do everything they can each week to ensure everyone involved in the club is conducting themselves in the correct way and have the correct training and qualifications to enable them to go above and beyond what is expected to make a significant difference to so many players, families & their local community.
