Contrary to popular belief, football isn't just 22 players and a referee on a pitch. Without the legions of volunteers and often unsung heroes ready to administer the clubs, coach teams and fulfil all the backroom duties required to keep a club running, football in Northamptonshire simply wouldn't happen on a Saturday, Sunday or any other day of the week.
