Created from conversations with grassroots clubs across England, we hope
you will sign up to The Grassroots Code and show you want to improve
behaviour across every all our leagues.
The Standards of Behaviour
• Enjoy The Game - We’re here to enjoy ourselves…win, lose or draw.
• Give Respect - We always treat others as we’d like to be treated.
• Be Inclusive - We embrace our differences…football is a game for
everyone.
• Work Together We’re a team, on and off the pitch.
• Play Safe We all have a role in safeguarding children.

You can read more about the Standards of Behaviour in The Grassroots Code. These apply to all players – from age five to senior players – and are available
for all our leagues and clubs now.
