With just 2 weeks until we jointly host our FA Girls Football Festival with Hunts FA at Netherton in Peterborough on 7^th September, the final details are coming together.

The Festival, one of 10 festivals that the FA are hosting in 2013, is being run for girls aged 6-17 with activities for those aged 6-11 in the morning from 10am-12pm and 12-17 year olds in the afternoon from 2-4pm.

As well as taking part in small sided games, there will be the chance to meet stars from the FA Women’s Super League, fun activities where you can test the speed of your shot, your reaction times and your goal keeping and the chance to have your photo taken with the FAWSL trophy.

There will be the opportunity to try your hand at refereeing and information about local playing opportunities for those who don’t already play. 

There are still plenty of spaces for U10 and U11 teams in the U11 group, U8 and U9 teams in the U9 group and U6 and U7 teams in the U7 group or any individuals within this age group who want to come along and get involved.

We’ve just had confirmation that Ellen White of Arsenal Ladies and England will be attending in the morning and Jordan Nobbs, also of Arsenal and England, will be attending in the afternoon.
