Vacancy: Disability Football Development Officer
Part Time - Salary £27,077 - £31,992 per annum pro rata
The Northamptonshire Football Association is seeking an experienced and dedicated Football Development Officer to drive the development of disability football within the county.
Reporting to the Head of Football Development, the post holder will join a dedicated team of development staff, tasked with increasing and developing participation of all football within the county in line with The FA’s National Game Strategy and the Northamptonshire FA operational plan.
The role is specifically focused on increasing participation and the number of affiliated team for people with all types of disabilities within the county. This is a unique and challenging role within the county, requiring someone who is passionate about providing opportunities for people with disabilities.

The post holder will have a strong background in disability sport and services with good knowledge of the current challenges people with disabilities face when accessing high quality sports opportunities. They must be passionate around the development of disability sports, an excellent networker who is motivated to drive change and development in this specific area of work
Along with all other members of county staff, safeguarding must be a high priority and strong knowledge of safe operating practices and the specific needs of people with disabilities should be demonstrable.
The post holder will be expected to work flexibly. A working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate based upon business requirements.
