Northamptonshire FA is delighted to announce that its affiliated referee, Dean Whitestone, has been promoted to Select Group 2.

This promotion means that Dean will be officiating matches in the EFL Championship next season (2019/20).

The announcement comes off the back of a great season for Dean, which saw him referee the Checkatrade Trophy final at Wembley Stadium between Portsmouth and Sunderland in front of an attendance of 85,021.  

The team at Northamptonshire FA would like to congratulate Dean on another fantastic season and his well-deserved promotion to Select Group 2.
