Individuals and groups who put their heart and soul into making grassroots football what it is in Northamptonshire will be recognised on Thursday 27 June, as Northamptonshire FA hosts its annual Grassroots Football Awards ceremony at Northampton ON Chenecks.

The FA and McDonald’s Grassroots Football Awards recognise people who make a positive difference. Whether it’s a player, volunteer, league or club, these awards allow us to celebrate the fantastic work that goes on within the county and say a big thank you to those who give up so much time and effort every season. 

Our county winners will be those who best follow and champion The FA’s PRIDE values - Progressive, Respectful, Inclusive, Determined and Excellent. 

Taking place between 7pm and 9.30pm at Northampton ON Chenecks on Billing Road (NN1 5RX), Northamptonshire FA will be presenting the following awards:

• Grassroots Grounds Team of the Year
• We Only Do Positive Respect Award
• Grassroots Supporter of the Year
• Grassroots Rising Star of the Year
• Grassroots Project of the Year
• Grassroots Volunteer of the Year
• Grassroots Coach of the year
• Grassroots Match Official of the Year
• Grassroots Club of the Year
• Grassroots League of the Year

Following a thorough nomination and judging process, Northamptonshire FA’s county winners will be put forward for the national FA awards, with the national awards ceremony set to take place at Wembley Stadium on FA Community Shield final day (Sunday 4 August).
