Football's Staying Home Launched by The FA
MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR TIME OFF THE PITCH
With football at all levels currently suspended, The FA has launched a Football’s Staying Home campaign to help keep players, volunteers and supporters active whilst at home.
Offering all types of activities and advice, the new resource, available on The FA’s website, is a great place to visit if you or your children are looking for new things to do whilst staying at home, in line with the Government’s latest guidelines.
Football’s Staying Home is split into four sections; Match Fit, Home Support, Extra Time and Team Talk.
Match Fit suggests the best ways for individuals to keep healthy in line with the latest Government advice in relation to the coronavirus, including handwashing.
Elsewhere, Home Support offers assistance with regards to mental health and remaining positive. This includes guidance from The FA and also looks at campaigns such as Every Mind Matters and Heads Up.
To help players and supporters keep active at home, Extra Time is another great resource to turn to. Soccercise, FA Superkicks, Disney activities and various football challenges are all included for you and your family to have a go at.
Finally, with children remaining at home following the national shutting of schools, Football’s Staying Home also offers a Team Talk section to encourage kids to remain on top of their education and keep their minds sharp. This section provides plenty of educational activities such as colour-ins, Maths Mania, quizzes and more.
