The UK Coaching Hero Award is now open for nominations, with Northamptonshire’s Lee Reade among the shortlisted coaches in recognition for his work as a CyberCoach during the national lockdown.
When the lockdown hit and face-to-face coaching was suspended, Lee set himself up as a CyberCoach, offering free, online coaching via social media to give everyone the opportunity to stay fit and healthy. These CyberCoach sessions developed and many of Lee’s family members took part, often becoming a substitute and personal assistance so that the player had maximum participation in the session.
Lee joins 74 other coaches from around sport in the UK Coaching shortlist.
