MAN v FAT combines football with easy-to-follow diet and lifestyle advice, as well as 24/7 online and offline support.
There is the traditional weigh-ins before each game, followed by a 30-minute game of six-a-side football. Extra goal bonuses are awarded depending on the pounds lost by the players.
As 2022 gets underway, two new clubs are coming to Northamptonshire, with Corby and Wellingborough taking the total to four in the area.
Local men who want to tackle their weight issues now have more chances than ever to join this incredibly successful weight loss programme. 90% of players lose weight and some players have lost up to 70lbs during the 14-week league.
Richard Crick, Head of Football at MAN v FAT said: "We've seen that MAN v FAT Football can have an incredible impact on the health of our players, with 93% reporting health improvements.”
Andy Dyke at the Football Association, added: “MAN v FAT Football is a brilliant initiative for anyone who wants to address their weight and start working their way back into playing football. The FA is happy to back the scheme and suggest that players visit www.manvfat.com/football to get started.”
MAN v FAT Football launches in Wellingborough on March 6th and in Corby on 5th May.
The scheme normally costs £9.99 to register, but if you sign up using the referral code NorthantsFA you can sign up for just £4.99.
Funded opportunities for a free 14-week season are available in both Corby and Wellingborough to relevant postcodes, otherwise monthly subscriptions will apply.
MAN v FAT Football clubs also operate in Kettering, Northampton and Peterborough.
