Northants United Academy host 'Big Football Day'

Northants United Academy in conjunction with Northants FA and The FA hosted the ‘Big Football Day' Event 

On Sunday 23rd July 2023, Northants United celebrated the Women's England team playing in the World Cup.

This initiative was led by Raff Miah and all the 10 Volunteer Northants United Coaches to encourage more girls to play football.

The turn out for the event was great with 65 boys and girls attending, doing football drills and ending off with a fun match.

The Big Football Day was also attended by the Northants FA Chair, Jim Wilkinson who also got involved with the face painting, meeting and greeting all the coaches, parents and children.
